Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data DFarms collects when you visit dfarms.in or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the main data protection laws that apply around the world, including the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
1. Who we are
DFarms is an agriculture business operated by Dfarms Agro Industries, part of the Dhanesh Indore Group. In this policy, "DFarms", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that business. We are the controller responsible for your personal data.
Registered office: Office No. 2, A-Wing, Prabhavee Tech Park, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045. For any question about this policy or your data, email info@dfarms.com.
2. The data we collect
- Information you give us. When you contact us or deal with us as a buyer, supplier, or farmer partner, we collect details such as your name, email, phone, and the content of your message.
- Information we collect automatically. When you use the site, we and our providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, mostly through cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
- Information from other sources. Occasionally we receive business contact details from partners, public registers, or referrals in the ordinary course of trade.
3. How we use your data and our legal bases
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, manage our relationships with buyers, suppliers, and partners, operate and improve the site, send updates where you have agreed, and meet legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business; your consent, for example for analytics, marketing cookies, and marketing messages; and compliance with a legal obligation. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You control non-essential cookies through our banner and the Cookie settings page. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where needed, with service providers who host the site, deliver email, or provide analytics on our behalf under contract; other companies within the Dhanesh Indore Group where relevant to your enquiry; and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by California law.
6. International transfers
We are based in India, so your data may be processed in India and in other countries where our providers operate. Where data is transferred out of the EEA, the UK, or another region with transfer rules, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, to run our business, and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, have it corrected, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent.
If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your data, to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. If you are in India, you have the right to access, correction, and erasure, the right to grievance redressal, and the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights.
To exercise any right, email info@dfarms.com. We will respond within the time the law allows and may need to verify your identity first.
9. Children
The site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
12. Contact and grievances
For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us at info@dfarms.com or by post at the address in section 1. For users in India, this is also the contact for grievance redressal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
